Seeking a Family Law Paralegal:

Do you want to help people get out of a toxic marriage?
We are a divorce law firm that is on track for aggressive growth, and we need an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our team and work directly with the owner and other attorneys to support the team and help our clients.

We want to be known for helping our clients through an extremely emotional process feeling as though they are a better person, in a better position, and that they had a team behind them that really cared and fought for them.

We are growing fast, and we need a Paralegal who can hit the ground running.

This position will be responsible for important work, including:
Working directly with an attorney and clients to start their family matters and move them through the court system as quickly as possible. This will include reaching out to clients to gather factual information and determine what they need to protect their rights and prosecute their case efficiently.
Of course, you will prepare the standard family law documents, propound, and respond to discovery, assist attorneys in conducting and defending depositions, and prepare/support attorney to take our client’s case to trial if necessary.

Seeking Experienced Executive Assistant:

The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the President/Founding Attorney and possibly other areas and upper-level members. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to the senior management teams; organizes and coordinates executive outreach, external relations efforts, and oversees special projects. The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a vastly growing environment with immense change. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a diversity of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

Provide and lead support to both internal and external parties with a high level of professionalism and in a manner that reflects positively on the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Sustain a daily calendar of meetings and events.
  • Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, special projects, and other documents in support of objectives for the organization.
  • Arrange travel and accommodations as needed. Prepare expense reports.
  • Screen incoming telephone calls; take and deliver accurate messages; respond to requests by gathering and providing information and referring non-routine calls to the appropriate staff.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Draft and prepare correspondence for internal announcements, meetings, and organizations that the Executive is involved with.
  • Manage the Executive’s contacts.
  • Assist in preparing and managing presentations and decks.
  • Be responsive to emails/texts/phone calls, with contact outside normal business hours.
  • Welcome the Executive’s guests by greeting them, in person or on the phone; answering or directing inquiries.
  • Use discretion, confidentiality, and good judgment to handle C-Level matters.
  • Represent the company and the Executive in a positive light through great follow-through skills and sound judgment.
  • Conserve the Executive’s time by reading, researching, collecting, and analyzing information as needed, in advance.
  • Complete ad hoc projects as assigned – such as personal events and/or family needs.
  • Organize complex calendars and schedules, resolving any scheduling issues.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in administration a plus.
  • 3+ years of related experience required in working in an executive assistant role supporting president and/or C-Level executives.
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Flexible hours as dictated by the needs of business for projects and meetings.
  • Business sense – has a strong business sense and can decipher priorities and make sound judgment calls when needed.
  • Commitment to excellence – perform duties at the highest level possible on a consistent basis.
  • Excellent communicator – able to interact with people of all levels in a confident, professional manner.

Seeking a Chief Financial Officer:
 
We are a divorce law firm that is on track for aggressive growth, and we need a CFO with 5 or more years’ experience to join our team and work directly with the owner, other managing partners, and staff to manage the financial functions of the Firm and interact with all levels of staff when finances intersect with marketing, sales, production, people, or our physical plant.
 
We are growing fast, and we need a CFO who can hit the ground running.
 
This position will be responsible for important work, including:
 
PLANNING 

  • Key member of the management team responsible for developing, executing, refining, and evaluating the Business Plan and forward-looking Budget.
  • Assist in formulating the firm’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
  • Develop financial and tax strategies
  • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
  • Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company’s strategic direction
     

OPERATIONS 

  • Lead, direct, and supervise the finance team and any third parties to which accounting, or finance functions have been outsourced
  • Oversee the company’s transaction processing systems
  • Implement operational best practices and finance/accounting procedures, especially billing, collections, stop work, credit cards, cost advancement, expense approval, payroll, disbursement, tracking cost of client acquisition
  • Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting
  • Assess financial risks and opportunities and make recommendations and plans accordingly; evaluate return on investment as it relates to spending on payroll/staffing & position utilization, marketing and sales, technology
  • Monitor cash balances, trust account balances, and cash forecasts
     

RISK MANAGEMENT 

  • Understand and mitigate key elements of the company’s risk profile
  • Monitor all open legal issues involving the firm and legal issues affecting the industry
  • Construct and monitor reliable control systems
  • Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
  • Report risk issues to the executive committee
  • Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
  • Assure legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
